Design Engineer

Job Summary

Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience in civil and structural infrastructure works, including underground structures. Experienced in the design and coordination of twin-box/cut-and-cover tunnels, structural elements, temporary and permanent works, interfaces with at-grade infrastructure and provisions for future underground structures. Experienced in design review, technical submissions, contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil and structural design expertise to develop infrastructure works, focusing on underground structures.
• Design and coordinate twin-box and cut-and-cover tunnels to meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Develop structural elements for temporary and permanent works ensuring stability and compliance.
• Manage interfaces between underground structures and at-grade infrastructure to ensure seamless integration.
• Plan provisions for future underground structures to support long-term infrastructure development.
• Conduct thorough design reviews to verify technical accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation to support project approvals and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors to resolve design issues and facilitate smooth project execution.
