DESIGN ENGINEER (2+ YEARS, C&S CONSULTANCY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

Our client is a reputable Civil & Structural consultancy firm in Singapore, known for delivering innovative and reliable solutions across residential, industrial, and commercial developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out civil and structural design in accordance with Singapore Standards and Eurocodes
- Perform civil and structural design works in compliance with Singapore Standards and Eurocodes
- Develop design calculations, technical documentation, and detailed engineering drawings
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, architects, M&E consultants, and contractors
- Participate in site visits, project meetings, and inspections as required
- Assist the Professional Engineer (PE) with submissions to BCA and relevant authorities
- Deliver design outputs within agreed project timelines
- Support design progression from concept stage through to detailed design
- Ensure all designs meet local authority requirements and applicable codes of practice
- Review and coordinate to identify and resolve design-related issues
- Manage documentation, including drawing control and revision updates
PROJECT EXPOSURE:
- Landed residential developments
- A&A (Addition & Alteration) works
- ERSS and temporary works
- Industrial and commercial projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (recognized by PEB Singapore)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a Civil & Structural consultancy environment
- Knowledge of structural design software such as Prokon, ProtaStructure, ETABS, SAFE, or Plaxis is an added advantage
- Solid understanding of BCA submission procedures and local regulatory codes
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination abilities
- Highly motivated, responsible, and capable of working under tight deadlines
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Prior exposure to ERSS, temporary works, or landed residential projects will be beneficial
- Open to fresh graduates with strong technical foundation and a positive attitude
