Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of detailed design in one or more of the following fields of expertise: Civil, Bridge/Tunnel/ Building Structures, Geotechnical, Underground Excavation, Tunnelling works, ERSS, and foundation
- Work closely with design consultants to ensure design optimization and to provide guidance on construction methodology and sequence of work during the tender and project execution stage
- Evaluate tender stage drawings and propose alternative designs
- Develop and prepare tender-related technical submissions, presentations, and construction programmes
- Develop design concepts and construction methodologies, and provide direction in sectional project execution
- Perform technical planning, engineering development, review of design changes and technical investigations, ensuring that the engineering solutions are developed, implemented and tested
- To liaise with Client, Client's Consultants, Contractors, and Authority to obtain design approval where necessary
- Provide engineering input to cost proposals where necessary
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore, A MUST
- Minimum 4 years of Civil Engineering experience in related fields (Earth, Roads, Drains, Tunnels, Viaducts)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in using Primavera P6 will be highly favoured
- Good knowledge of BIM and VDC will be a plus
- Organised, meticulous, with positive work attitude and a sense of urgency
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills
