Quality Control Technician

Job summary:

Perform checking on incoming materials, finished products, production line. Plan and liaise with relevant departments to execute projects, non routine testing etc. Assist Manager in audits.

Job responsibilities:

• Liaise with relevant department on incoming materials schedule and perform the relevant checking.

• Review COAs to ensure conformity of the raw materials and packaging materials before use

• Conduct production line checking

• Complete finished products checking on time

• Perform microbial checking on the raw materials, packaging materials, water samples from line and finished products.

• Assist in data collection and investigation when non conformance occur.

• Support in non routine testing and project

• Ensure all equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.

• Liaise with testing lab on external testing

Requirements to excel in this position.

• Minimum diploma and degree (Certified in Food Science and Technology or its equivalent)

• Able to work independently or as a team

• Good analytical skills, detailed person

• Good communication and written skills.

• Willing to learn

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Able to start work immediately or at short notice would be preferred
