Deputy Planning Manager

My client is seeking a highly driven Deputy Planning Manager to support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring across large-scale construction/infrastructure projects. The role will work closely with the Planning Manager and project teams to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with project milestones..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Planning Manager in developing and maintaining project master programmes and detailed schedules
• Prepare and update baseline schedules, catch-up programmes, and recovery plans
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly/monthly progress reports
• Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and identify potential delays or risks
• Coordinate with project teams (Construction, Engineering, M&E, Commercial) to track progress and resolve issues
• Review subcontractor programmes and ensure alignment with overall project timeline
• Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and supporting documentation
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and planning standards
• Support tender planning activities including preliminary schedules and methodology

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 610 years of relevant experience in construction planning/scheduling
• Experience in large-scale projects (e.g., infrastructure, MRT, data centres, hospitals, or high-rise developments)
