SISV Real Estate will be the leading body for real estate professionals in Singapore, encompassing property valuers, property and facility managers, marketing and sales personnel, and real estate investment practitioners.
Role Overview
The Deputy Director is the senior leadership figure responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational management, and industry representation of SISV Real Estate. The role bridges policy, professional standards & development, and stakeholder engagement across Singapore's real estate ecosystem. The role is answerable to the elected Council of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with SISV RE's mission and Singapore's real estate industry needs
- Identify emerging trends (e.g., proptech, sustainability, regulatory shifts) and position SISV RE accordingly
Advise Council/Board on all relevant matters
2. Industry Representation & Advocacy
- Act as the main representative of SISV RE in dealings with government bodies, regulators, and industry partners
- Contribute to policy discussions affecting the real estate sector in Singapore
Build relationships with agencies like, IRAS, Urban Redevelopment Authority and Council for Estate Agencies
3. Professional Standards & Development
- Oversee the development and maintenance of professional standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Support accreditation frameworks and continuing professional development (CPD) programs
- Promote ethical practices within the industry
4. Operational Management
- Lead day-to-day operations of the SISV Real Estate
- Manage budgets, resources, and staff performance
- Ensure effective execution of programs, events, and initiatives
5. Education & Training
- Guide the design of training programs, certifications, and seminars
- Collaborate with academic institutions and training providers where appropriate
Promote upskilling in areas like digital transformation and ESG
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage members, corporate partners, and industry leaders
- Expand SISV RE membership and value proposition
- Foster collaboration across real estate, valuation, and surveying disciplines and will allied professional groups
7. Events & Thought Leadership
- Oversee conferences, forums, and industry events
- Position SISV RE as a thought leader in real estate trends and innovation
- Publish insights, reports, and market commentary
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably, degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of senior experience in real estate or related sectors and/or in association work involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Singapore's real estate regulatory framework
- Willingness to attend evening meetings

Renumeration
$5,500 - 6,500 per month, with discretionary bonuses.
