You'll work at the forefront of international healthcare collaboration, building the systems and capabilities that enable meaningful partnerships across 8-10 country programmes and support over 200 stakeholders worldwide.
We are seeking a Deputy Director to lead our strategic planning, internal systems development, and organisational excellence functions. As the principal deputy to the Director, you'll formulate long-term strategic vision, develop robust internal governance frameworks, and ensure operational excellence across all ICO functions whilst building institutional capabilities that enable effective international collaboration delivery.
What You Will Do:
You will lead the development of ICO's three-to-five-year strategic plans and annual business plans, conducting strategic analysis and market research to inform organisational direction whilst facilitating strategic planning sessions and board presentations. Your role involves designing and implementing internal governance systems, standard operating procedures, and quality management frameworks, alongside developing policy frameworks and compliance systems that support organisational growth. You'll spearhead human resource strategy and organisational development initiatives, designing training programmes and performance management systems that build high-performing teams with strong capabilities. Additionally, you'll develop financial planning frameworks and budget management systems, overseeing internal financial operations and resource allocation for annual budget. You'll establish governance frameworks and compliance monitoring systems, ensuring regulatory adherence across all ICO functions whilst managing internal communications and stakeholder engagement protocols that support strategic initiatives and organisational development programmes.
