Deputy Director Finance, Healthcare Services

We are partnering with a well-established and purpose-driven organisation in Singapore to appoint a Deputy Director, Finance, a pivotal leadership role overseeing finance operations, financial stewardship, governance and strategic business partnering. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the organisation's long-term sustainability while ensuring the highest standards of financial accountability, regulatory compliance and resource management.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position leads a sizeable finance team and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, partnering closely with business stakeholders on financial strategy, budgeting, resource allocation and organizational decision-making. The role is responsible for overseeing annual budgets, ensuring effective financial planning, monitoring and reporting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include driving financial strategy and cashflow management, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, managing finance operations and financial reporting, strengthening internal controls and risk management frameworks and ensuring successful completion of audits and regulatory submissions. The role will also lead initiatives related to grants, subsidies, donations and funding governance, while contributing actively to management and board-level discussions on strategic and operational matters.

We are seeking an experienced finance leader with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA are advantageous. Candidates should possess at least 10 years of finance leadership experience, with proven success managing large finance functions and developing high-performing teams. Experience within healthcare, charitable organizations, grant-funded environments, public sector-related entities or non-profit organisations will be highly valued.

The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial and analytical acumen, a deep understanding of financial governance and regulatory compliance, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively. You will be a hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, and who is passionate about building robust financial processes that support meaningful organisational outcomes.
