Job Description

As Deputy Chief Executive Officer Real Estate Investments (Fundraising Focus), you will play a vital role in steering the organisations strategic direction by spearheading all fundraising activities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with senior leaders to design effective capital-raising strategies that appeal to a diverse range of investors. You will be responsible for managing complex negotiations, structuring innovative fund productsparticularly those centred around industrial park assetsand ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. By nurturing strong relationships with both existing and prospective investors, you will help solidify the companys position as a trusted partner in asset management. Your ability to oversee marketing efforts and represent the organisation at key industry events will further enhance its market presence. Success in this role requires not only technical expertise but also a passion for mentoring others within a supportive team environment.

  • Develop comprehensive fundraising strategies aimed at attracting institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth investors to support the companys ambitious growth objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of the fundraising process from initial investor targeting through pitching, structuring deals, negotiating terms, and successfully closing transactions.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with investors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure long-term engagement and trust within the investment community.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and investor relations activities to elevate the companys reputation within the asset management sector.
  • Collaborate with investment, finance, and legal teams to structure funds that comply with regulatory standards while meeting market demands.
  • Identify emerging investment opportunities in industrial park assets and related sectors, designing innovative fund products tailored to evolving investor needs.
  • Represent the organisation at industry conferences, investor meetings, and public forums to enhance visibility and credibility among peers and potential clients.
  • Support the CEO in setting strategic goals for the business while driving operational improvements that align with overall organisational vision.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to senior managers as well as fundraising teams to nurture talent and promote a culture of shared success.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field is an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is highly desirable for this senior position.
  • A minimum of 1015 years experience in fundraising, capital markets, investment banking or asset management is essential for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated history of successful capital raising within industrial park asset funds or similar real estate/infrastructure funds is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills combined with clear communication abilities are necessary for influencing senior-level stakeholders across various settings.
  • Proven negotiation skills with experience closing high-value deals involving institutional or private investors on both domestic and international levels.
  • Extensive network of contacts among institutional investors as well as private clients is crucial for expanding the companys reach.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities paired with sound business acumen enable you to identify new opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism are expected at all times when representing the organisation internally or externally.
