Deployment Engineer - DevOps CI / CD - Tier 1 Bank - Singapore

As a Deployment Engineer - DevOps (CI/CD), you will drive the evolution of the bank&aposs software delivery processes and play a crucial role in accelerating deployment cycles and ensuring production stability.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering and development teams to automate, streamline, and optimise infrastructure and software deployment operations. You will be responsible for managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, implementing observability solutions, and maintaining strong systems reliability within a high-stakes financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and automate infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Implement and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Design, configure and manage observability solutions to ensure high availability and system performance.
• Ensure compliance by implementing security controls and governance solutions using policy enforcement tools such as Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address production incidents and identify permanent solutions.
• Promote DevOps best practices and drive adoption of new tools and processes in a regulated environment.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to continuously improve delivery lifecycle efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years&apos experience in a DevOps, software engineering, or related infrastructure role.
• At least 1+ years in platform or product ownership with proven success in delivering enterprise solutions.
• Expertise with Continuous Delivery platforms such as GitLab, Harness, or similar, including hands-on experience with module integration and pipeline management.
• Excellent scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of policy enforcement frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA), particularly in CI/CD workflows.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Software engineering experience in languages such as Go and Java is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment.
