Job Description
We are seeking 2 DevOps Engineers to support a 12-month project with a leading financial institution. The role involves managing Linux systems, developing automation scripts with Python/Node.js, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Experience in banking change processes will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop automation, integration, and support scripts using Python and Node.js.
- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
- Support release and deployment activities within financial institution governance frameworks.
- Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and applications, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in change management, adhering to compliance and control standards.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to streamline delivery processes.
- Document system configurations, deployment processes, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Linux administration.
- Proven programming skills in Python and Node.js.
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with banking/financial institute change management processes (advantage).
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
