Job Summary
Ivory Dental is a modern dental practice focused on providing high-quality care in a comfortable and professional environment. We are looking for a responsible and motivated Dental Assistant to support our dentists and ensure a smooth patient experience in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during dental procedures to ensure efficient and safe treatment delivery
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materials before patient appointments
- Perform sterilisation of dental instruments following infection control protocols to maintain patient safety
- Take and process dental radiographs as required to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure treatment rooms are stocked with necessary supplies for daily operations
- Carry out minor laboratory tasks to support dental procedures and clinic workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic to provide a welcoming environment for patients and staff
- Assist with scheduling patient appointments and respond to patient enquiries to facilitate smooth clinic operations
- Use basic computer skills to manage administrative tasks and patient records efficiently
- Collaborate positively with team members to support a professional and friendly clinic atmosphere
- Adapt to working weekday evenings (up to 9pm) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as needed to meet clinic scheduling demands
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior dental assisting experience is an advantage however, training will be provided for the right candidate
