Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef to support our kitchen operations. The role is ideal for someone with solid culinary skills who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in running a designated section of the kitchen.
- Prepare ingredients, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared and maintained during service.
- Support junior staff with training and guidance when required.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices at all times.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimizing waste.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Strong culinary knowledge and basic kitchen management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced service.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop into a Chef de Partie role.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
