Our client is looking to hire a Pastry Baker to help them keep growing. If you're hard-working and dedicated, can create a broad range of baked goods and have an appreciation for artistic presentation, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare all pastry items as required by the Head Chef
- Supervise and allocate tasks to commis chefs, providing guidance and coaching
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards
- Conduct first-level quality checks and minimise waste
- Oversee packaging and non-food inventory, maintaining proper stock levels
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and uphold an organised, efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary/Pastry/Baking
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Good knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
- 6 days work - 8am to 4pm or 5pm
- OFF on Sunday @ Tai Seng
