We are looking for a Data Governance manager to drive data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance initiatives within a Wealth Management environment.
This role will work closely with the DCIO, CDO, and Data Protection teams to ensure strong data controls, proper documentation, and alignment with regulatory requirements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data governance initiatives including data quality, retention, and data privacy
- Act as the main point of contact for data governance activities within the Wealth Management business
- Ensure compliance with internal data controls and regulatory requirements
- Manage implementation and adoption of data lineage and governance tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and application owners to ensure proper data documentation
- Maintain data architecture documentation, data lineage, and governance frameworks
- Monitor data governance issues and drive remediation plans
- Support data-related projects and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality roles
- Experience working in financial services or wealth management environments
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data lineage, and data lifecycle
- Experience with Collibra (mandatory) and familiarity with PowerBI, SQL, Excel, or Python
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work with both business and technical teams
