RESPONSIBILITIES
- Automate workflows with cloud and distributed technologies.
- Integrate and manage key external data sources.
- Build scalable pipelines to handle diverse financial data.
- Develop robust models and storage systems to support research and trading.
- Deliver accurate, timely data to investment teams.
- Shape infrastructure for advanced analytics and quant strategies.
- Create user-friendly APIs for seamless data access.
- Ensure data quality through monitoring and validation.
- Advocate strong governance, security, and metadata practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and distributed systems (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
- Experienced with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Proven ability to build resilient data infrastructure in high-performance or financial environments.
- Familiar with diverse financial data types and real-time vs batch processing.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective communicator in fast-paced teams.
