Job Posting: Data Centre Facility Engineer (12-Month Contract, Extendable)

Salary: Up to SGD 7,800/month (depending on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facility Engineer to manage and maintain critical infrastructure in a high-availability, financial-institution environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in data centre operations, incident management, and 247 on-call support.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HVAC systems, fire-suppression systems, and structured cabling.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with data-centre landlords and building management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and drive timely resolutions.
- Support off-hours activities: emergency alarms, on-call duties, and vendor coordination for urgent repairs.
- Ensure strict adherence to physical security and incident response procedures.
- Generate management reports: monthly performance, incident summaries, root-cause analyses, and project status updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in data centre facility management.
- Proven success in high-pressure, 247 on-call environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fire-suppression systems.
- Familiarity with structured cabling and rack-and-stack preferred.
- Solid understanding of ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Mandatory: prior experience in data centre operations for financial institutions.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- In-depth understanding of structured cabling systems and data-centre rack integration.

- Duration: 12 months (extendable)
- Work Schedule: Standard office hours with 247 on-call responsibilities
