Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain all data centre facilities infrastructure, including UPS, power systems, cooling, temperature and humidity controls, and water detection sensors.
  • Ensure supporting systems such as Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS), Access Control Systems, and Electronic Visitation Management System are fully operational.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely support for customers.
  • Conduct maintenance activities, shutdowns, and upgrades, following established SOPs, MOPs, and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports on DC facilities operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
  • Support incident response and root cause analysis for facility-related issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and change management protocols within the data centre environment.

Requirements:

  • NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Computer & Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent technical qualifications with relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems, fire detection and suppression systems, building management systems, and critical facility operations.
  • Experience in maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise effectively with vendors, colleagues, and customers.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to work in a day/night shift environment.
