Key Responsibilities:
- Data Centre Facility Engineer to ensure the 100% availability of our data centre's critical infrastructure.
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and emergency response of the critical infrastructure, including power and cooling systems
Requirements:
- Manage and monitor critical systems including UPS, backup generators, CRAC units, VESDA and Fire Suppression.
- Conduct daily routine inspection of data centre facility.
- Supervising data centre contractors during testing and maintenance.
- Adhering to Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).
- Monitor PUE and implement strategies to reduce energy usage.
- Support auditing by maintaining logs and documentation for ISO 27001:2022.
- Assist in data centre space planning to ensure data centre facility has enough power, cooling and racks for new deployment.
- Ensure data centre facility meet the agreed SLAs.
- ITE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 2-5 years in mission-critical data centre environments
- CDCP is an advantage
