Data Architect (Azure)

We are working with a leading financial institution in Singapore. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Azure Data Platform Solution Architect to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Formulate and sustain Azure Data Architecture, while guaranteeing adherence to data-associated policies and standards.

Devise and execute data solutions via Databricks, encompassing the creation of data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data lakes.

Conduct analysis on system integration challenges related to data and put forward suitable resolution strategies.

Collaborate with data engineers and IT team members to provide support for data-related technical problems and address their data infrastructure requirements.

Put in place measures for data security and privacy safeguarding.

Create and implement approaches for data collection, archive retrieval, and database deployment.

Partner with data governance teams to ensure that data solutions meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Keep track of system performance and resolve any emerging issues.

Stay updated on the latest knowledge of the Azure platform, Databricks, and industry best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

Possess extensive hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and Databricks.

Demonstrate proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using Databricks, with proficiency in tools including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

Have strong analytical capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.

Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork collaboration abilities.

Showcased experience in data architecture and data management, with a preference for experience in a cloud-based environment.
