Job Summary

As a Lead, Data & Business Intelligence within Traveloka's Tech department's COI domain, you will play a pivotal role in the Data & Business Intelligence function by translating complex data into impactful support for business operations. You will leverage your expertise to align data analysis initiatives with the team's mission of driving smarter decisions and strategic growth that redefines travel experiences for millions.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and integrate data from diverse sources to guarantee the consistency and accuracy of data assets used for business analysis
• Apply advanced statistical and data mining techniques to uncover hidden trends and patterns that inform critical business decisions
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports using leading BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for stakeholder consumption
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their unique business needs and translate them into actionable data analysis projects
• Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance protocols to maintain the reliability and security of Traveloka's data ecosystem
• Lead and mentor junior data and business intelligence team members to enhance their technical skills and project delivery capabilities
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data analysis projects, from initial scoping and requirement gathering to final presentation of insights and recommendation implementation
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence roles, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity within a tech-driven organization
• Proficiency in using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to build dashboards and reports, with a track record of delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and machine learning, with the ability to apply them to complex business problems
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to effectively translate technical data insights into understandable business recommendations
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining data quality and governance frameworks to ensure data reliability and security
• Familiarity with data integration processes and tools to consolidate data from multiple sources into unified datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced business environment
