Data Analyst

In 2016, China Re established its Singapore Branch under a license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Located in Raffles Place, the branch operates as a composite reinsurer, underwriting both general and life reinsurance across Southeast Asia.

We are now seeking to fill the following position in our Singapore team.

Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

. Ensure our proprietary databases are accurate, consistent and accessible

. Working closely with various stakeholder to understand their data requirement and business process

. Collaborate closely with underwriters to provide P&C treaty pricing support

. Regulatory contributing to the development of pricing methods and tools, conduct internal and market research

. Other job scope includes retrocession, risk monitoring or related job scope

Requirements:

. Degree in actuarial studies or related fields such as mathematics, finance or statistical studies

. 1-3 years of experience in P&C pricing preferred. Fresh graduate with great attitude can be considered

. Proficient in MS Office Suite

. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

. Experience with VBA/SQL and other coding is a plus
