【Job Responsibilities】
This role serves as a Group Cybersecurity Program Lead, responsible for planning, executing, and embedding cybersecurity initiatives across the group.
It is a management position that covers the full lifecycle from strategy formulation to execution and operationalization.
■Group-wide Cybersecurity Enhancement (Approx. 70%)
- Develop cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps for international group companies in Asia Pacific Region.
- Plan, deploy, and execute cybersecurity assessments across group entities.
- Following up action items of cybersecurity assessment result.
- Identify and analyze security risks, misconfigurations, and control gaps in enterprise IT environments
- Evaluate systems from a security architecture perspective and propose practical remediation measures
- Develop and roll out group-wide cybersecurity standards and guidelines
- Maintain continuous communication with Japan headquarters, including reporting, explanation, and coordination.
- Provide clear, structured explanations in Japanese to management stakeholders who are not cybersecurity specialists.
- Where necessary, address cybersecurity considerations for OT environments and web application domains
■Alliance, Sales Support, and Delivery (Approx. 30%)
- Leverage and manage alliances with selected cybersecurity and IT vendors.
- Acquire sufficient technical understanding of partner products and services and assess their applicability.
- Support technical and conceptual aspects of proposals for group companies or related customers.
- Define security requirements and review solution architectures and proposal content.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of cybersecurity assessments, implementations, and improvement projects.
- Manage stakeholders across customers, partners, and internal teams, including overall project management.
■ Team Management
- Manage a team of approximately five members.
- Assign resources, support team development, and drive team performance.
- Standardize cybersecurity practices and delivery processes to improve consistency and repeatability.
- Act as a playing manager with hands-on involvement where appropriate.
【Required Qualifications】
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in enterprise IT or cybersecurity-related roles
- Hands-on experience in multiple areas, such as:
- Cybersecurity assessments and risk analysis
- Security or IT architecture review and improvement
- Leading or managing IT / cybersecurity projects
- Proven experience communicating and coordinating in Japanese with:
- Japan headquarters
- Management stakeholders who are not cybersecurity specialists
- Track record of not only planning initiatives but also executing and embedding them into operations
- Strong ability to create business documents in Japanese, including policies, reports, and requirement documents
【Preferred Qualifications】
- Experience in group-wide IT or cybersecurity governance or planning roles.
- Experience working with overseas subsidiaries or global vendors (English communication).
- Involvement in alliance management or partner-based delivery models.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized teams (approximately 3-10 members).
- Cybersecurity-related certifications such as:
- CompTIA Security+
- Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination, or equivalent
