Department Description
The GCOO/CFT (Corporate Functions Technology) department leads IT transformations and provides IT solutions to Finance. The team is a regional team with members based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangalore, covering the Asia Pacific region.
The open position is within the TSR (Treasury & Structural Risk) sub-department and will be supporting the Regional needs within the domain.
The open position is for a Business Analyst / Project Manager within the TSR (Treasury and Structural Risk) sub-department and will be supporting Asia Finance users on CTB initiatives related to ALM, Liquidity Management, Treasury and Funding, etc.
Key stakeholders you will be interacting with include Finance, Operations, and other IT feature teams. All on a local, regional, and global level.
As a business analyst / project manager, your major responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Working with our Finance users to develop business cases, and structure and steer its execution
- Business and impact analysis on the structural risk functional domain from initiatives stemming from NPCs, IT Transformations, and business pushes and NPCs, global alignment in steering practices, etc.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare user requirements. Conduct gap analysis, and provide detailed functional specifications and align these with all our stakeholders
- Project manage / stream lead initiatives that impact our functional domain
- Coordinate actions with Regional and Global teams to leverage on other entities knowledge/experience and to ensure global process consistency
- Monitor & provide reporting to highlight project progress and risks to management and projects governance
- Coordinate and handle preliminary user acceptance tests and effectively communicate findings to users for their final validation
- Identify operational inefficiencies within our domain and provide ideas for resolution, be it based on IT solutions, processes changes, or both
- Enforce the spirit of agile and continuous delivery in our value driven deliverables
Profile Required:
- Strong project management skills - structuring complex ideas into executable ones, manage stakeholders, define roadmaps and managing / mitigating risks
- Understanding of the structural risk domain (liquidity, interest rate and forex risks)
- Simplification mindset
- 7+ years of experience, with part of it functionally relevant to the above
