Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of the company's networks and information systems, identifying potential threats, and implementing effective protective measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in security and be able to respond to evolving threats to ensure the company's ongoing operational safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and providing solutions.
- Implement and maintain network security tools and defenses (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection).
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments to ensure the security of network infrastructure.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure timely patching of operating systems, applications, and network devices.
- Create and present security reports to senior management, outlining security posture and risks.
- Assist in developing and updating company security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Track and analyze emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, recommending necessary improvements.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees to enhance the company's overall security posture.
- Perform other security-related tasks to ensure compliance with information security standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in cyber security, with relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.) preferred.
- Familiarity with common network security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, DLP).
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.).
- Experience in vulnerability management, risk assessments, and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate security issues to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Must have valid work authorization for Singapore or Southeast Asia.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with IT compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) is preferred.
