Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding sea freight shipments and related enquiries
- Coordinate import, export, and cross-trade shipments based on customer requirements
- Manage end-to-end shipment operations including booking, arrival notices, documentation, DG declaration, transportation, tracking, fumigation, and insurance arrangements
- Handle import and export customs clearance processes for customers
- Assist in preparing freight rate quotations and service proposals
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, transport providers, overseas agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, Switch BL, invoices, permits, and cost verification
- Maintain and update customer profiles and shipment records in internal systems
- Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers on delays or operational issues
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and service-related complaints professionally
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company operational procedures
- Prepare operational reports and service performance summaries
- Support continuous process improvement and service quality enhancement initiatives
Requirements:
- GCE O Level or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business or related field
- Around 2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations
