Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding sea freight shipments and related enquiries
  • Coordinate import, export, and cross-trade shipments based on customer requirements
  • Manage end-to-end shipment operations including booking, arrival notices, documentation, DG declaration, transportation, tracking, fumigation, and insurance arrangements
  • Handle import and export customs clearance processes for customers
  • Assist in preparing freight rate quotations and service proposals
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, transport providers, overseas agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, Switch BL, invoices, permits, and cost verification
  • Maintain and update customer profiles and shipment records in internal systems
  • Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers on delays or operational issues
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and service-related complaints professionally
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company operational procedures
  • Prepare operational reports and service performance summaries
  • Support continuous process improvement and service quality enhancement initiatives

Requirements:

  • GCE O Level or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business or related field
  • Around 2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations
