Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to retail and wholesale customers.
- Assist with plant selections, gardening products, and related merchandise.
- Proactively engage customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Deliver a seamless customer journey, from enquiry to purchase and after-sales support.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits.
- Develop product knowledge in plants, plant care, soil, fertilizers, pots, and gardening tools.
- Identify plants and provide care instructions with confidence.
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support product displays, replenishment, and maintain an attractive retail environment.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and handle concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours, events, and promotions.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of retail and outdoor garden areas.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and support stock management tasks.
Job Requirements
- Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Energetic, physically fit, and comfortable working outdoors (sun and rain included).
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Basic IT literacy and ability to operate POS systems.
- Interest in plants, gardening, and nature.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a new industry.
- Team player who isn't afraid to get hands dirty.
- Must be willing to work at least one weekend day.
