Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle export shipment bookings and documentation through to file closing efficiently.
  • Manage shipments smoothly, including document processing, manifest preparation, pre-alerts, invoicing, and cost tracking.
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all processes comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely system updates.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team

Competency Requirements

  • Minimum GCE N Level qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ocean shipping requirements and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills-able to convey information clearly and tactfully with both customers and vendors.
  • Singapore citizen or SPR only.
