Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle export shipment bookings and documentation through to file closing efficiently.
- Manage shipments smoothly, including document processing, manifest preparation, pre-alerts, invoicing, and cost tracking.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all processes comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely system updates.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team
Competency Requirements
- Minimum GCE N Level qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of ocean shipping requirements and procedures.
- Strong communication skills-able to convey information clearly and tactfully with both customers and vendors.
- Singapore citizen or SPR only.
