Glencore Singapore Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glencore International Plc. and engages in commodity trading, the Singapore office employs approximately 230 staff working from a single site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and drive sustainable trade flow and expanding trading portfolio.
- Conduct market analysis for all related products to guide pricing, strategy, and investment decisions.
- Design new trading structure by leveraging commodity financial tools and mitigate risk.
- Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth trade execution, settlement.
- Business development of potential investment opportunities.
KEY COMPETENCIES/ SKILL SETS
- Diligent and organised individuals, who exhibits strong integrity, work ethics and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, efficient and well-organized working habits.
- 3 years and above experience idealy in commodity markets would be an advantage.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or equivalent.
