We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (1 Year Contract) to bridge business requirements with technology solutions in a commodity trading environment. The role focuses on improving trading workflows, enhancing CTRM system capabilities, and strengthening risk and data integrity across the deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements across Trading, Risk, Operations, and Finance.
- Produce structured BRDs and functional specifications.
- Facilitate alignment across cross‑functional stakeholders and external vendors.
- Identify process gaps and support optimisation of end‑to‑end deal lifecycle workflows.
- Support CTRM onboarding, enhancements, and UAT testing.
- Ensure accuracy of trade data, valuations, and exposures; assist with system configuration clean‑up.
- Define reporting needs and support dashboard/analytics development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience in commodities, energy, trading, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of physical and derivatives trading lifecycle.
- Experience with E/CTRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro, Aspect, TriplePoint).
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel, SQL) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
