Job Description

Delivery Management

  • Interface with cross-departmental teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Own and lead internal status meetings.
  • Prioritise and streamline work streams based on critical path..

Resource Management

  • Continuously develop expertise in all internal systems and tools
  • Identify and schedule the right resources for projects, working directly with the Head of Creative Services.
  • Build and resource complex timelines using proper project management methodologies and tools.
  • Manage overall leave and exit movements - includes coverage and handover planning..
  • Recruit external talents - includes sourcing, administrative work and onboarding.
  • Possess advanced and intricate understanding of both individual and team's capabilities (competency levels in different hard skills and software) to best fit creatives according to scope and project briefs.
  • Have a clear oversight of full creative capacity and number of creative briefs in the system to ensure agency efficiently and talents are effectively utilised, and tailor/plan accordingly (e.g. shifting of work, hiring of freelancers etc.).
  • Maximise team output and efficiencies by de-conflicting and working with internal teams on the best solution for all parties.
  • Able to forecast in advance if de-conflicting and offloading resource workload is needed to meet project timelines

Creative

  • Constantly challenging/pushing for high quality
  • Cognisant of recent aware winning works/industry best practices.
  • Understanding of industry trends and their impact on client and company's businesses

Operations & Finance

  • Identify where altered requirements will involve extra time or extra resources and efficiencies can be gained.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within process suggest/implement solutions.
  • Track and maintain overall creative budgets for freelancers and interns.

People Management

  • Collaborate daily with project managers and internal counterparts.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all the relevant parties (brand managers, project managers, creatives etc.) to ensure smooth workflow, communication and enhance resource management.
  • Be a partner to the Executive Creative Director to drive excellence within the team (e.g. take pride in work, meeting timelines, finding suitable talent etc.)

Leadership

  • Provide the management team with regular updates of the current creative landscape resourcing and forward plan (including timelines, budget etc.) against the resource needs.
  • Able to take calculated risks and respond to the changing internal landscape with agility.
  • A confident leader who understands the intricacies of the business who demonstrates good decision-making and coming up with creative solutions (e.g. on matters of talent matching, flexible working arrangements etc.)
  • Work with the Creative Directors to identify opportunities for growth and development when scheduling resources.
  • Demonstrate good judgement in choosing methods of communication that are most effective and efficient within the agency

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge required

  1. At least 5 years relevant experience in project management in the creative/advertising industry.
  2. Leadership experience in managing various internal stakeholders.
  3. Sound financial planning and budget management experience.

Skills required

  1. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  2. Excellent relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
