Position Title: Executive Director (Photography & Visual Media)

Job Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for the comprehensive leadership and management of the company's photography and visual media business. The role covers strategic planning, creative direction, service delivery, operations management, and future AI SaaS product development. The Executive Director must bring strong international photography experience, proven ability to serve both B2B and B2C clients, and leadership in driving business growth in Singapore and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Lead the company's overall strategy, growth, and financial sustainability.
- Develop long-term plans to expand both local and international business.
- Ensure alignment with Singapore's creative industry and digital transformation goals.
2. Photography & Visual Media Services
- Direct and supervise all photography and videography projects, including weddings, bridal portraits, corporate events, exhibitions, and brand campaigns.
- Deliver exceptional visual storytelling for both B2B corporate clients (brands, galleries, institutions, real estate, luxury products) and B2C clients (weddings, engagements, families, individual portraits).
- Guarantee quality and consistency in all deliverables, from concept to final output.
3. International Experience Integration
Apply knowledge gained from working in China, Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia to elevate company standards.
- Lead destination projects such as weddings in Paris, Iceland, and Bali, as well as exhibitions and brand campaigns across major global cities.
- Adapt cross-cultural practices to better serve Singapore's diverse client base.
4. Creative Direction & Innovation
- Define and execute the company's artistic vision, ensuring innovation and market differentiation.
- Explore integration of AI technologies in editing, workflow automation, and SaaS development.
- Lead brand collaborations, exhibitions, and experimental creative projects.
5. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multinational clients, partners, and collaborators.
- Expand service offerings and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company in industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events.
6. Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and project management.
- Establish and maintain company policies, workflow standards, and quality assurance systems.
- Mentor junior photographers, videographers, and creative staff, including Singaporean talents and interns.
Job Requirements
Education & Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree and professinal training certificates required.
- Master's/PhD degree preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience in photography and creative industries.
- International work experience in China, Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia.
- Recognised awards or certifications in photography and visual arts.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership in managing businesses and creative teams.
- Strong portfolio covering weddings, portraits, events, exhibitions, corporate branding, and art projects.
- Advanced technical proficiency in professional cameras, lighting, editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge of AI-assisted editing tools and SaaS product development is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong client management and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
