Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Attendant to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be paired with a Courier Driver, both responsible for delivering goods from warehouse to various clients / consignees in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients. Ensure that deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are securely packed and handled with care.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery documentation / proof of deliveries.
- Timeliness: Ensure all deliveries are made within the agreed-upon time frames, managing time effectively to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move packages or goods and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Good Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow delivery instructions and ensure products are delivered accurately and in excellent condition.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Dependability: Ability to work independently and reliably, adhering to company policies and schedules.
