Counsellor

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

1) Problem Gambling-related cases

. Conduct harm assessment for referral cases

. Provide counselling services for problem gambling cases

. Prepare reports in a timely manner for submission

. Ensure services are conducted within the project specifications and requirements

2) Counselling cases

. Provide counselling services to clients with mental health issues

. Work with family members and conduct family sessions

. Maintain proper case records and progress records

. Ensure services are planned and conducted within the guidelines of professional standards and ethics

3) Training-related

. Develop mental health-related training and educational material

. Conduct mental health-related talks and training

4) Other duties as assigned

Requirements

. Education:

o Degree in social work or counselling or other relevant qualifications

. Experience:

o Must have at least 2 years working experience in counselling sector and handling of problem gambling cases

o Must be a Certified Gambling Addiction Counsellor (CGAC) or other specialist qualifications
