Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and credible Corporate Services Manager to establish and scale SEI's corporate services capability in Singapore and across APAC as part of our first regional launch. The successful candidate will lead operational delivery across multi-entity portfolios, serve as the primary escalation point for strategic clients, and liaise with Investment Managers, Global Custodians, Prime Brokers, and Administrators to ensure precise, timely, and compliant service delivery. This position is an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain exposure to all areas of corporate services with a leading global service provider.

What you will do:

Corporate services operations and team leadership:

  • Lead the corporate services team (with potential to scale to 20+ FTE and expand into multiple APAC jurisdictions) as the operational lead and primary escalation point.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of corporate services: bank account opening, SPV management, entity formation, corporate governance and board support, statutory filings, returns and registers, corporate accounting, cash management, payments, and consolidation services, ensuring precision, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Implement scalable APAC-ready processes with a strong control environment and risk framework (maker-checker, segregation of duties, issue/incident logs etc.).
  • Create and oversee standards and workflows for board governance (agendas, convening notices, board packs, minutes, meeting co-ordination etc.).
  • Own AML governance for directors, shareholders, and beneficial owners, including periodic refresh, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee regulator/registry interactions and notary processes through external counsel for entity setup, amendments, and dissolution across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Oversee maintenance of statutory registers, bank mandates, and integrity of fund books and records in partnership with the Fund Admin team; ensure final executed documentation is archived and reconciled to internal systems.

Portfolio oversight and advisor coordination:

  • Ensure seamless execution and governance across jurisdictions for multi-entity client portfolios, coordinating closely with external legal counsel, tax advisors, and banking partners.
  • Run regular operating reviews with client teams to align governance calendars, bank mandates, accounting timelines, and consolidation deliverables.
  • Coordinate with auditors, compliance, and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate responses and close actions.
  • Monitor and forecast events in the fund life cycle, including extension of investment periods/maturity dates and liquidation.

Global collaboration and GCC alignment:

  • Provide oversight of, and close coordination with, the Global Capability Center (GCC) corporate services team, aligning capacity, standards, and SOPs for a seamless and scalable client experience.
  • Contribute to cross-office initiatives, share best practices, and collaborate with EMEA and North America stakeholders to align regional execution with global strategy.

Enablement & cross-functional partnership:

  • Partner with sales and marketing to codify the Corporate Services value proposition (speed-to-setup, governance quality, bank onboarding expertise, control environment etc.) and support RFP responses with standardized artifacts (SOPs, SLAs, controls narratives, jurisdictional matrices).
  • Define and track Corporate Services KPIs and keep Operating Memoranda/SOPs and jurisdictional playbooks current.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 5 years corporate services experience with oversight of multi-entity portfolios and hands-on coordination with external legal, tax, and banking advisors.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate services operations covering bank account opening, SPV management, entity formation, corporate governance and board support, statutory filings, returns and registers, corporate accounting, cash management, payments, and consolidation services in one or more APAC jurisdictions.
  • Experience building and scaling regional operations with robust processes and controls; strong understanding of private markets and local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate can expect a reasonable amount of business travel within APAC to meet with clients and prospects.

What we would like from you:

  • Outcome-oriented problem solver who blends strategic thinking with disciplined execution; able to translate client and regulatory requirements into clear action plans and measurable results.
  • Strong communicator and influencer who can navigate banks, legal/tax advisors, and senior client stakeholders, to resolve competing priorities with professionalism.
  • Builder mindset with strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills; comfortable creating scalable processes and procedures in a growing office.
  • Collaborative leader who partners effectively across time zones and functions, sharing best practices and contributing to a unified global culture.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability.

Why join us

  • Play a founding role in SEI's APAC launch, shaping the future of our APAC business from the ground up, while leveraging the scale, technology, and expertise of a leading global platform.
  • Operate in a senior, externally facing role with direct exposure to regional leadership and global IMS executives, influencing go-to-market strategy and client outcomes across APAC.
  • Work in a culture that values integrity, innovation, and exceptional client service.
