Overview
Our client, an established professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join as a hands-on HR Business Partner supporting multiple entities across the Group.
This role covers the full spectrum of HR operations in Singapore, with opportunities to contribute to selected group-wide HR initiatives in Europe. Reporting closely to the CHRO, the incumbent will play a key role in ensuring effective HR delivery, strong employee engagement, and robust compliance, while supporting the Group's positioning as an employer of choice..
Compensation & Benefits
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Singapore employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare statutory submissions and reports for MOM, IRAS, CPF and other regulatory bodies.
Apply for and administer relevant government grants and incentives.
Ensure ongoing compliance with local labour laws and regulatory requirements, proactively implementing updates as required.
Administer and maintain employee benefits, including medical and hospitalisation insurance and other entitlements.
Support the CHRO in annual Remuneration Committee processes, including preparation and review of salary and bonus proposals.
Employee Relations & HR Operations
Manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling and advisory on HR policies and procedures.
Drive staff engagement initiatives and HR programmes to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Plan and coordinate HR activities and events to enhance overall employee experience.
Support day-to-day HR operations and continuous process improvements across the Group.
Performance Management & Career Development
Administer the annual performance appraisal cycle, including performance reviews, calibration exercises and documentation.
Advise managers and employees on performance management policies and best practices.
Support career development initiatives by aligning appraisal outcomes with training, promotion and succession planning.
Undertake ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.
Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
Minimum 4-7 years of HR experience, with hands-on exposure to Singapore payroll.
Solid understanding of Singapore employment regulations and statutory requirements.
Recruitment experience across multiple role types.
Able to work independently in a lean HR setup.
