Job Description

Overview
Our client, an established professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join as a hands-on HR Business Partner supporting multiple entities across the Group.

This role covers the full spectrum of HR operations in Singapore, with opportunities to contribute to selected group-wide HR initiatives in Europe. Reporting closely to the CHRO, the incumbent will play a key role in ensuring effective HR delivery, strong employee engagement, and robust compliance, while supporting the Group's positioning as an employer of choice..

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Singapore employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare statutory submissions and reports for MOM, IRAS, CPF and other regulatory bodies.

  • Apply for and administer relevant government grants and incentives.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local labour laws and regulatory requirements, proactively implementing updates as required.

  • Administer and maintain employee benefits, including medical and hospitalisation insurance and other entitlements.

  • Support the CHRO in annual Remuneration Committee processes, including preparation and review of salary and bonus proposals.

Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling and advisory on HR policies and procedures.

  • Drive staff engagement initiatives and HR programmes to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Plan and coordinate HR activities and events to enhance overall employee experience.

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and continuous process improvements across the Group.

Performance Management & Career Development

  • Administer the annual performance appraisal cycle, including performance reviews, calibration exercises and documentation.

  • Advise managers and employees on performance management policies and best practices.

  • Support career development initiatives by aligning appraisal outcomes with training, promotion and succession planning.

  • Undertake ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.

  • Minimum 4-7 years of HR experience, with hands-on exposure to Singapore payroll.

  • Solid understanding of Singapore employment regulations and statutory requirements.

  • Recruitment experience across multiple role types.

  • Able to work independently in a lean HR setup.
