About the Role
The Corporate Planning, Finance & Human Resources Manager plays a strategic role in integrating corporate planning, financial sustainability, and people management to support the Institution's long-term objectives.
The role provides a macro-level perspective of institutional performance by aligning quality partnerships, sustainable financial modelling, governance compliance, and human capital development, in accordance with EduTrust requirements and organisational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Planning, Governance & Strategic Partnership
Corporate planning for compliance, and organisational effectiveness in alignment with business objectives and the effectiveness of systems and processes for continual improvement.
Finance & Financial Governance
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations in compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Lead the annual budget exercise, prepare financial forecasts and management reports, and support ongoing budget monitoring and reviews with the CEO & Department Heads.
Manage statutory filings including GST, Corporate Income Tax, CPF, IR8A and liaise with external auditors for annual audits.
Prepare management accounts, cash flow projections, and financial analysis to support strategic planning, decision‑making, and financial sustainability.
Oversee corporate secretarial and governance matters, including preparation of Board resolutions and statutory filings.
Human Resource Management
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and practices in compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements and organisational needs.
Manage staff recruitment, payroll, employment contracts, and HR administration.
Plan and administer Staff Satisfaction Surveys, analyse results, and report findings with actionable recommendations to management.
Oversee performance management, training, and staff development programmes to build organisational capability and support institutional objectives.
Track, analyse, and report People Development Outcomes, including training effectiveness and performance improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
ACCA and/or CPA preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
Ability to translate financial and operational data into strategic insights
Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential financial and HR information
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Able to start work immediately or on short notice
