Job Summary:
Seeking a finance and corporate planning professional to support regional performance, governance, and cross-border coordination with HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Accounts Manager to prepare monthly financial reports and annual budget proposals, and present insights to local management and Japan HQ.
- Support corporate and strategic planning initiatives, including long-term forecasting, resource allocation, and operational strategy development.
- Analyze financial statements and track KPIs to support business growth and performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate local statutory audits and internal audits from Japan HQ, including audit preparation, documentation, and inquiry handling.
- Act as the primary liaison with Japan HQ, providing Japanese-Chinese/English translation and interpretation for meetings, correspondence, and corporate documents.
- Liaise with Singapore government agencies and Corporate Secretaries to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth administrative operations.
- Partner with the Head of Central Kitchen to monitor production efficiency, manage P&L performance, and ensure operational KPIs are met through financial analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical and operational support for management-led projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Practical experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to budgeting, reporting, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory environment and Japanese corporate reporting and governance structures.
- Proficiency in Chinese language for liaising with Chinese-speaking management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is an added advantage for cross-functional and regional communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and navigate diverse communication styles.
