Corporate Lawyer (M&A/Funds)

Our client is an international law firm looking to hire a Senior Associate for their Corporate Funds team. They are consistently ranked Tier 1 in legal directories for M&A transactions, structuring of Funds and Capital Markets work. This role would comprise of a mix of cross-border M&A/sponsor side transactions, and fund formation/structuring. They work with leading global asset managers, PE sponsor and private credit platforms. This is a rare and amazing opportunity for someone from a traditional M&A background looking to pivot into the asset management / private capital space. Our client is also supportive of relocating the right candidate to Singapore.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background/results
• Qualified in the UK, Australia, Singapore or Hong Kong
• 5 PQE+ (UK scale)
• Good training and experience with a leading international firm
• Either a strong background in conventional M&A transactions or Fund Formation & Structuring
• Prior experience working in Singapore or an Asian jurisdiction is advantageous, but not essential
