Corporate Finance, Senior Manager (Corporate HQ)

Our client is an established International MNC with their Corporate HQ based in Singapore. In view of continued international business expansion and growth opportunities, an opportunity has arisen for a new headcount as M&A Corporate Finance, Senior Manager.

A highly experienced lead with full suite of deals transactions and corporate finance experience, you will report directly into the Head of Department. You will be responsible for supporting the leadership teams across multiple business verticals; with Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Partnerships.

The breadth of responsibilities include:

  • Helping to originate and execute strategic value creation initiatives with new regional growth businesses
  • Building and managing portfolio businesses from ground zero
  • Developing and analyzing new business cases for M&A, JVs, Strategic Partnerships formation within new growth segments pertaining to the overall business's relevant ecosystem
  • Supporting with operational business management requirements, governance and reporting, maintaining financial oversight of the performance, budgets, as well as relationship management
  • Launching new markets including business development efforts to identify new JV / partners / investors and overall transaction execution
  • Develop and drive internal and external partnerships based on aligned desired outcomes with potential for full ownership for overall partnerships

Key Skillsets and Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of corporate finance, M&A deals, or valuations experience
  • Candidate should have a proven track record within investment banks and/or Big 4 deals corporate finance / valuations grounding. Commercial in house expertise will be a plus (not a must)
  • Knowledge and experience in business valuation and financial modelling would be a plus
  • Strong project management skills, organized and disciplined, showing attention to detail, and following up skills to ensure the right impacts
  • Good skills in various business study/research activities, strategy assessment and formulation, business case/financial modelling, financial and legal due diligence, negotiation and legal documentation, and PMI planning
  • Experience in project lead of geographically and culturally diversified team
  • Collaborative hands-on working style, focused on achievements
  • Adaptable, tenacious, self starter and self reliant
  • Growth and value creation big picture mindset
