Corporate Development & Strategy Director
CIX is looking for an experienced Corporate Development & Strategy Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the company's success, shaping the future of the carbon market, and making a significant impact on the broader sustainability ecosystem.
This role is based in
Singapore, and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will be in a pivotal role shaping CIX's growth and development in a rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy
- Support the development and execution of corporate strategy, including market assessments, regulatory developments,competitive analysis, and business model evaluation.
- Support internal strategy processes, OKR setting, and cross-functional alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Drive clarity and storytelling around CIX's business model, market position, and growth roadmap.
- Coordinate strategic planning cycles and synthesize input from leadership across teams to identify strategic priorities and operationalize key initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and board materials articulating strategic insights, growth plans and recommendations.
Corporate Development
- Evaluate strategic investment, M&A, and partnership opportunities that align with CIX's mission and growth plans.
- Build financial models and conduct valuation analysis for potential transactions.
- Support the company's capital raising efforts through research, pitch material development, and coordination and due diligence efforts.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, sustainability consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar roles
- Exposure to carbon markets, sustainability, or ESG investing is strongly preferred though not a must-have.
- Sharp analytical skills and structured thinking comfortable working with market data and regulatory frameworks.
- Team-oriented and comfortable working across multi-function teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial modelling skills
- Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, both internally and externally, to drive commercial outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing executive-ready materials.
