What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with the institution's mission, vision, and long-term healthcare goals
- Lead brand development and marketing initiatives to strengthen the institution's position as a leader in healthcare and innovation
- Drive change communications for organisational transformation, ensuring alignment with healthcare advancements and patient care priorities
- Plan and oversee high-impact academic, clinical, and community engagement events to enhance healthcare collaboration and public awareness
- Manage communications for visits and engagements with government leaders, donors, academic partners, and healthcare stakeholders
- Champion innovative use of digital platforms and marketing automation to enhance patient engagement and institutional reputation
- Translate clinical, research, and healthcare education outcomes into compelling narratives for internal and external audiences
- Strengthen internal communications to engage healthcare staff, celebrate achievements, and support change initiatives
- Lead fundraising communications and donor engagement strategies to support healthcare programmes and innovation
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and project management for communications and engagement initiatives
What we're looking for
- Masters/ Bachelor Degree in Communications/ Marketing/ Media/ Journalism/ Public Relations or related studies
- 15 - 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, or strategic engagement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across complex environments
- Confident public speaker with excellent presentation skills and executive presence
- Proven ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and align strategies across functions
- Demonstrated experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning
