Job Summary

Prepare and cook food following company recipes and SOPs while maintaining quality, hygiene, and inventory standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Support team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain food presentation standards to meet company expectations
  • Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup before service hours to ensure readiness
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, equipment, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to supervisors promptly
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently to ensure safe food handling
  • Support team members during peak service periods to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Receive and store kitchen supplies properly to maintain organization and stock integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Basic kitchen or cooking experience preferred to support food preparation tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands
  • Food hygiene certification is an advantage for ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn to contribute to team growth
  • Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively
  • Responsible and able to follow instructions carefully for accurate task completion
  • Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays to meet operational needs
