Job Description

Responsible for preparing and cooking Chinese dishes according to restaurant standards. Ensure food quality, hygiene, and smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Chinese dishes following standard recipes
  • Assist in food preparation (cutting, marinating, portioning ingredients)
  • Ensure all food is cooked and presented to company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use
  • Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
  • Work closely with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor for replenishment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in any other ad hoc kitchen duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • Basic experience in cooking Chinese cuisine preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to work long hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards

Working Hours

  • Shift work, including weekends and public holidays
