Roles & Responsibilities:
The Contracts Manager is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- . Contract administration including liaison with clients, authorities, QPs, architects on contractual matters
- . Provide contractual advisory to ensure senior management, project managers and all relevant project staffs understand, aligned and comply with specific contract requirements and procedures
- . Advice on contractual risk management including risk analysis, identification of risk, and propose measures to minimize exposure to these risks in terms of costings, technical specifications
- . Familiar with PSSCOC, REDAS, SIA contractual legislations, and SOP Act
- . Lead in notification on the extension of time, contractual claims, variations, and any related loss and expense claims to the client and/or assessing and reviewing of extension of time, variations, and any related loss and expense claims by sub-contractors
- . Able to deal with disputes arises from project execution amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
- . Provide procurement strategies and advise the key points of cost control in sub-contracting and potential variation orders to ensure provisions are catered for within cost and time.
- . Advice on negotiating contract terms and conditions with subcontractors/suppliers
- . Settle final account with client and sub-contractors
- . Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed in compliance with Singaporean laws and regulations
- . Report to contract directors and senior management.
Job Requirement:
- . A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- . Minimum of 8 years of experience within the Construction Industry in Singapore in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects.
- . Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, construction techniques, materials, codes, and regulations.
- . Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- . Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- . Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- . Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- . Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Other Information:
- . 5 days work per week
- . Timing 08:30 to 06:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 08:30 to 05:30 (Friday)
- . Salary: S$3500 - S$6000 (Based on Experience)
- . Location: Eunos (Head Office)
