Key Responsibilities
- Assist in IT support related duties
- Configure, test, and commission ABB 800xA systems, ensuring seamless integration with IEC 61850-based IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices).
- Establish communication with IEDs and LV devices via Profinet communication (UMC100).
- Perform system testing with electrical field devices to validate control and monitoring functionalities.
- Reinstall and configure the ABB 800xA system to migrate from workgroup to domain-based setup for improved security and manageability.
- Install and configure the 800xA History Server for data logging and historical analysis.
- Configure OPC UA communication between ABB 800xA and third-party systems for data exchange and interoperability.
- Collaborate with the project and field teams to ensure smooth execution, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during site testing.
- Prepare documentation for system configuration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
