Job Description

Planning and scheduling of electrical installations and repairs
Supervising and overseeing the work of electricians and other construction workers
Ensuring that all electrical work is done according to local and national electrical codes
Inspecting and testing electrical systems to ensure they are working properly and safely
Coordinating with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, on project planning and design
Training and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices
Resolving electrical problems and troubleshooting equipment
Preparing and maintaining records, reports and drawings of electrical work performed
Ensuring the safety of the workforce by implementing safety procedures and protocols
Estimating costs and preparing budgets for electrical projects
Ordering and managing inventory of electrical supplies and equipment
