Construction Supervisor

A Construction Supervisor oversees day-to-day construction activities at a project site. They coordinate workers, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure that work is completed safely, correctly, on schedule, and according to drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily construction activities and workers.

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Coordinate subcontractors and site workers.

Monitor the quality of construction work.

Check materials, equipment, and workmanship.

Ensure work follows approved drawings and project requirements.

Monitor progress and report updates to the project manager or engineer.

Maintain site records, measurements, and daily reports.

Identify and resolve site issues.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Coordinate inspections and support testing/quality checks.

Help control project schedules and material usage.

Requirements / Skills:

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

Experience in construction site supervision is preferred.

Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.

Knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Good leadership and communication skills.

Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Ability to coordinate workers and subcontractors.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM can be an advantage.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
