Construction Supervisor (Alum Trade)

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• To supervise on project and report on daily progress regarding installation work on site.

• Responsible for gathering information such as project schedule (progress chart) from main contractors.

• To supervise subcon works and ensure subcontractor's progress in accordance with schedule.

• To prepare work order for fabrication works and arrange for installation in accordance with approved drawings and materials.

• To carry out site supervision and arrange inspection with RTO / Main-con.

• To ensure quality of work to achieve CONQUAS and or QM requirements.

• To liaise with Main-con and other contractors to ensure smooth operation.

• To support Safety Team by ensuring subcontractors are complying to safety procedures and requirement.

• To supervise and instruct workers to place proper barricade to hand-held cutting machinery and powered tool, well equipped with basic protection gears such as helmet, safety boots, etc and or safety belt when working at height.

• To provide feedback and solution on technical problems.

• Responsible for handling all workers matters on the site such as verifying overtimes for workers, duty allocation to workers, etc.

• Liaise and work with relevant authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submission, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

  Requirements:

  • Min. NiTEC / N Level / O Level.

  • Min. 3 - 5 year(s) of site supervisor experience in engineering / construction industry.

  • BCSS certificate or WSQ Supervise Construction Work for WSH is required

  • Must be team player and able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

  • Possess WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations Certificate is an advantage.
